It is with great pride and pleasure, I introduce you to the Pacific Northwest (PNW) Drumline Association. This is a newly formed Drumming program that targets Community at risk youth ages 10-17 years, who have and interest and/or passion for the Art in Drumming, Choreography, and Performance . The mission is to promote self respect, unity, and understanding of life’s opportunity through music and leadership.

Our board of Directors consist of prominent community members, and several volunteers with experienced musical backgrounds, with proven commitment to our at risk youth. As you are aware, youth violence is on the up rise, and affects not only the community but the city as a whole. This community program will be a positive alternative for our youth.

Through community involvement, positive role models, mentorship, and other opportunities this program is a viable and needed alternative to curbing youth stagnation and violence. All youth will participate in roundtable discussions in Communication, Teenage Attitude, Self Definition, and Defining the teenage role.

In an effort to curtail the negative impact on community, families, and children our organization is inviting you to join us in this effort. We are seeking your support through surplus musical instrument contributions, training volunteers, donated practice space, and/or financial assistance.

Participating in our program our youth will acquire fundamental music skills to compete for College admission and scholarships in the best education institutions in the United States.
